I’m the co-founder of Llama, the home for DAO contributors. Llama is a community that works with DAOs on protocol engineering, treasury allocation, and analytics. We have worked with Aave, Nouns, Uniswap, Gitcoin, PoolTogether, Fei Protocol, dYdX, Radicle, and FWB, among others. We are contributing to a new economy powered by open-source software, permissionless capital formation, and liquid labor.

I was attracted to crypto because of the ideals of decentralization, open-source, and community ownership. Contributing in crypto feels like worldbuilding; you’re in Hogwarts, and you and your friends operate under the premise that magic exists.

I value authenticity, humor, and resonance.

Few things I treasure ~

  • my old car, which I’ve driven to exhaustion
  • my cap, which reads, “the mountains are calling and I must go”
  • my notebook that has a record of my random ideas, including solving sleep

I make memes, run, and play basketball. I go on long drives to wherever my car takes me, which is often along roads with trees.

I like taking social risk – smiling at a stranger before they smile back, supporting someone with a weak social network, riffing on an unfamiliar ideology, traveling with a new person, and talking to internet strangers.

The Beginning of Infinity by David Deutsch has been foundational to my understanding of how knowledge is created and progress is made. It also serves as a personal philosophy. Anything that isn’t impossible according to the laws of physics is possible, with sufficient knowledge.
